'Biscione Milanese' is the official finisher artwork for Milano21 2025, created by Milanese artist Alberto Casagrande in collaboration with Memorace.
Inspired by the city’s legendary symbol — the Biscione Visconteo — the artwork reimagines Milan as a living, moving serpent. Along its winding path, the race unfolds through iconic landmarks such as the Duomo, Navigli, Arco della Pace, and the city’s yellow trams — each a heartbeat in Milan’s rhythm.
The serpent’s back forms a road of rhythm and speed, a nod to Italian Futurism and Milan’s creative legacy.
