Welcome to Memorace. These Terms of Purchase govern the use of our website and the purchase of products from Memorace. By placing an order with Memorace, you agree to the terms set out below. We encourage you to read them carefully before completing your purchase.

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be handled by Swedish courts.

2. Ordering Personalized Artwork

All Memorace artworks are personalized and produced on demand. We do not keep finished products in stock.

When placing an order, customers are asked to provide certain information such as:

• First name

• Last name

• BIB number

This information is used to retrieve official race results (such as finishing time) from public race result databases approved by the race organizers, allowing us to personalize the artwork.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all information entered during checkout is accurate and complete.

Because each artwork is custom-made based on the information provided by the customer, orders cannot be modified, cancelled, or refunded due to incorrect information entered at checkout.

3. Race Result Data

To personalize your artwork with your official finishing time, we primarily use the BIB number provided during checkout to retrieve results from publicly available race results databases.

If no BIB number is provided, or if the BIB number does not result in a match, we may attempt to identify the correct result using the first and last name provided in the order, where a unique match can reasonably be identified.

If we are unable to confidently identify a matching result, we will contact the customer directly to confirm the correct BIB number or finishing time before producing the artwork.

4. Production and Delivery

All Memorace artworks are produced to order.

We normally produce and dispatch orders 1–2 times per week, and we aim to produce and ship all artwork within 1 week from the time the order is placed.

Production may take longer in cases where:

• order details require manual verification (ex: Wrong BIB-number)

• customer information needs to be confirmed

• there are periods of unusually high demand or public holidays (ex: Christmas, Easter, other public holidays)

Our estimated delivery time is 2-3 weeks. 

Once the order has shipped, customers will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.

We ship orders across:

• the European Union

• United Kingdom

• Switzerland

• Norway

• United States

• Canada

• Mexico

Shipping within the European Union, UK, Norway and Switzerland is free of charge.

For orders shipped outside the EU, shipping fees may apply and customs duties, VAT, or import taxes may be charged by local authorities. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Memorace works with trusted shipping partners including PostNord, DHL, and FedEx, depending on the destination and the most suitable delivery option.

If a parcel is lost during delivery, please contact us at hello@memorace.com and we will assist in resolving the issue.

If a parcel is returned to us due to it not being collected in time, we are happy to resend it, but the customer will be responsible for the new shipping cost.

5. Payment

We accept the following payment methods:

Payment is processed at the time the order is placed.

6. Returns and Refunds

Because all Memorace products are custom-made and personalized, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once an order has been placed.

Refunds or replacements are only offered in the following situations:

• the product was damaged during transport

• a production error occurred on our side

If you receive a damaged product, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at hello@memorace.com and include photos of the damage so we can assist you.

7. Intellectual Property

All artwork sold by Memorace remains the intellectual property of Memorace AB.

The purchase of a Memorace artwork grants the customer the right to display the artwork for personal use only.

Customers may not reproduce, copy, distribute, resell, or use the artwork commercially without prior written permission from Memorace.

8. Privacy and Personal Data

Memorace processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The personal data collected when placing an order may include:

• name

• email address

• shipping address

• payment information

• BIB number

• race finishing time

This information is processed solely for the purpose of:

• producing personalized artwork

• fulfilling and delivering customer orders

• providing customer support

To produce the artwork and complete delivery, certain information may be shared with trusted third parties, including:

• printing partners (primarily located in Sweden, and occasionally in Italy and Spain)

• shipping carriers responsible for delivery

Only the information necessary to fulfill the order is shared.

If a personalized artwork contains a customer's name and finishing time, this information will only be displayed publicly if the customer chooses to share the artwork themselves and tag Memorace on social media.

9. Changes to the Terms

Memorace reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time.

Any changes will be published on this page, and it is the customer's responsibility to review the terms before placing an order.
