Every finish line has a story that began long before race day.
"She Ran Before Us" celebrates the women who opened the road for those who followed. Kathrine Switzer runs from 1967, when she famously entered the Boston Marathon despite women being excluded. Alongside her is Evy Palm, winner of the very first Tjejmilen in 1984. And leading them into the present is the runner of 2026 — not one particular woman, but everyone who takes their place on the starting line today.
Together, they run through Stockholm along a course shaped by the symbol of Venus — past familiar landmarks, small details and moments from Tjejmilen's history.
Three generations. One road. And thousands more stories still to be run.
